For such high competition sites, you need to prepare onsite strategy in a proper manner. Once this has been done, then very less work will be required for link building. Search about the guidelines for optimizing the onsite plan, this will help to get ranking quickly for more competition.

You ain't gonna move the needle with no half-assed SEO tactics. You gotta bring your A-game, and then some. You're up against some heavy hitters here, and they ain't gonna roll over and play dead just 'cause you showed up. Now, let's talk content. You think you can rank with some thin, crappy content? Think again, buddy. You gotta create something so damn good, so damn valuable, that people are willing to sell their firstborn just to get their hands on it. You gotta make your content the cat's pajamas, the bee's knees, the... you get the picture.
And don't you dare think about keyword stuffing. That shit don't fly no more. Write for humans, not search engines. Use your keyword naturally, and if it don't fit, make it fit. But don't force it. And while you're at it, use some of those fancy LSI keywords too. You know, the ones that Google loves so much. Now, let's talk links. You think you can rank with just a few backlinks from your mom's blog and that one forum you hang out in? Fat chance, pal. You gotta build some serious link juice here. I'm talking high-quality, relevant backlinks from authority sites. And don't you dare think about buying them. Google's smarter than that, and they'll slap you down faster than a fly on flypaper. So, how do you get these magical links? You gotta earn them, son. Create some amazing content (see above), and then promote the hell out of it. Guest post on relevant blogs, reach out to influencers, create some link-worthy assets... you know the drill.

And don't forget about technical SEO. You think you can rank with slow loading speeds and a crappy mobile site? No way, José. Make sure your site's fast, mobile-friendly, and easy to navigate. And while you're at it, optimize those images and make sure your site's secure. Now, let's talk about patience. You think you can rank for a keyword with 9 crore competition in a week? You must be high. SEO takes time, my friend. It's a marathon, not a sprint. So, buckle up, 'cause it's gonna be a long ride.
