Why page rank is important?

Page rank is important when it comes to google search results. This is because most searchers reach the first 3 pages and stop with that while searching for products or services. Therefore good page ranking is a must when we are to reach potential customers. Any comments?

I think that SEs rank is important. Not PR which you see on the google's toolbar, but real rank.
It can be lower than real page rank.

Without a good page rank we cannot expect a good number of visitors to our site. For potential customers to haunt our site we certainly need a good page rank to our site.

Pagerank is traffic levels which usually are based on how high keyword rankings you place. With a high pagerank website you will be very profitable.

The indexing is well interlinked with ranking. But I think indexing is important.

Google's algorithm on PR presumes that linking will happen in a natural fashion. However, today link trading and link building have become a niche market of its own right defeating the original essence of Pagerank.

page rank is the reputation of the site.. so if it has a high page rank we can say that they have a good website..
