It is true, as Keywords is meta tags are not important nowadays. The only thing you need to concentrate on Headers (H1, H2, H3...), Title, Description & on page content.

I know meta labels may not be that imperative but rather somebody let me know there useful for aiding adsense pick better promotions. i.e. on the off chance that you put in lucrative catchphrases and your site is releated to that specialty, they're bound to show up ? Any fact in that ? Or on the other hand is it a Myth lol

The meta keywords tag is one of the biggest time-wasters for newbies. Many outdated guides keep recycling this myth. Instead of stuffing keywords into invisible tags, improve topical relevance, content depth, indexation, page speed, and link equity. Google cares about those ranking factors, not forgotten SEO relics.

The keywords meta tag itself has been dead weight for well over a decade — Google ignores it entirely, and Bing has said the same. Filling it in doesn't hurt you, but it doesn't help either, so don't spend energy there.

What still earns its keep is the description tag. It won't move your rankings, but it's your ad copy on the results page, and a well-written one absolutely lifts click-through rate. Title, description, and then the actual content doing the heavy lifting — that's where keywords still matter.
