I do keyword research to see what my competitors are ranking for, then develop content that they are missing and address my audience. That's how you can rank for keywords and overtake your competitors.

Keyword research in SEO starts with understanding your audience's search intent and identifying high-traffic, low-competition terms. Tools like Google Keyword Planner or SEMrush help uncover valuable keywords that align with your content goals and drive organic traffic.

Analyzing search intent, volume, and competition is the first step in keyword research. For maximum visibility and engagement, we target primary and long-tail keywords relevant to the audience.

Search intent is too underestimated. No matter what tools you use for keyword research, type each of the Top KW you want to rank for in the SERP. What you see is what you must do. If commercial results are dominating, don't do a blog article. If informational content have the upper hand, don't do a landing page.

If the competition is too high, change your approach by betting on long tail keywords. DON'T underestimate potential keyword with 0 volume or trafic. Google doesn't rely solely on your chosen KW and will send you trafic with keywords you didn't think at all. Look regularly at your search console dashboard to find them.

My approach to keyword research usually starts with understanding user intent first rather than only checking search volume. I focus on finding keywords that match what users are actually searching for at different stages — informational, commercial, and transactional.

I normally use tools like Google Keyword Planner, Ahrefs, SEMrush, and Google Search Console to identify:

* Search volume
* Competition level
* Long-tail keyword opportunities
* Related search terms
* Competitor ranking keywords

I also analyze Google autocomplete, People Also Ask, forums, and Reddit discussions to discover real user queries and trending topics. Long-tail keywords are especially valuable because they often bring more targeted traffic with lower competition.

After collecting keywords, I group them based on search intent and map them to the right pages for better on-page optimization and content structure.
