This might sound obvious but if i optimise a page for say "Anime Collectibles", should the page that I link to also have the term "Anime Collectibles" in the title or even as the <h1> on the page or would that be considered over kill and penalise me. I mean it sounds obvious to keep them exactly the same but will that look blatantly obvious to google that I'm trying to over optimise and maybe cheat with my SEO work ?

I think it's important to have in the header, search engines definitely look for it if it's the main keyword you want.  Try to have 1 in each paragraph of content too

I think as long as you have anime collectibles spread around your content you should get good rankings.  But Google does look for keywords and title and puts emphasis, but if it's not possible to do this you won't get killed in keyword ranking

I think you should . Then your going to be indexed in google much faster. Also buy few backlinks .

There is nothing wrong with keeping your main keyword in your title. Th trick is to not overdo it all throughout your website and keep it real. It is good to optimize but also design your website for your visitors as well.

Aligning SEO keywords with your page title improves relevance and click-through rates. Titles should be concise, descriptive, and include primary keywords naturally. Matching titles with targeted keywords signals search engines about the page's topic.
