Hi aravalisec43, As you know that Strong or Good backlinks is Important to enhance the Ranking SERP. So, If you are website is new or old it doesn't matter but what is matter its a Great Content. well you can get strong links from guest posts from high DA niche sites, forums and blog comments unless the the review/opinion you posted impress them much to give a link.
I believe creating great and interesting and shareable content is the key for backlinks. ;)
