Is Article Spin spamming?

I have heard a lot about Article spin and there are some people are also using it for blog and article directory.
Is this good to use or spam?
What is your opinion?

Article spinning is not spamming its duplicating one's content. If used its spam and Google recognized this kind of method as a bad link to the SE.

I don't think article spinning is a good idea for you to do some SEO in your website or blog. Due to the latest Google Panda update, your website or blog won't easily get ranked if you have content that is poorly spun. The best thing for you to do is to rewrite them by sentence manually.

Yes I totally agree with you that there are lot of bloggers who r using article spinner. But Google is very strict with it's policies and in view of Google's policies it's prohibited. As Google tools quickly detected spin contents and sometime it result in de index your site from search engine.
