These days those links are helpful that send traffic to your website so make sure that you are creating this kind of links.

If you are using high traffic forums then you are doing good work, you are doing two things at the same time, which are traffic and links, because most of the forums are dofollow forums, even you get some nofollow forum links then they are not harmful, they would look more natural.

You can get traffic from blog comments too at the same time you would be building links on high pr sites as well because blogs are generally high pr blog, their pages have some pr say pr1, pr2 etc.. so you are getting pr links from blog commenting.

I would highly recommend youtube, pinterest and Facebook too. I know alot of people will criticize me, but I HATE SEO and screwing with WP...It's more efficient, but I'd rather try and send traffic to a very studied affiliate site with a good converting product. It's tricky.
