Hey folks,

I'm currently helping with a project called Chesteei — it's a SaaS tool aimed at creators and small teams who manage digital content, brand deals, and invoicing. We're exploring ethical link-building strategies to grow visibility without being spammy.

I've done the basics (social profiles, directory listings), but I'm curious what's working right now for newer SaaS platforms — especially ones that serve niche audiences like influencers or solo founders.

Would love to hear any tips, tools, or creative tactics you've seen success with.

Thanks in advance!

I think that when it comes to tools for creators, the community should be the main focus. Collaborating with micro-influencers to use them and review them with links is a pretty good way. In addition, things like sharing free templates, writing case studies and posting them on Reddit, Indiehаckers also help pull natural links. The important thing is to focus on real value, the links will come by themselves.

Agree with focusing on community and value. I've seen solid results from sharing free tools/templates in niche Slack groups and on Product Hunt, too. Also, lightly participating in relevant Quora or StackOverflow threads (without being salesy) can lead to good, natural backlinks over time.

You can build links for a SaaS tool by guest posting on creator-focused blogs, collaborating with influencers, using HARO for mentions, and creating integration or comparison content. Offering co-marketing opportunities with complementary tools also helps attract natural, high-quality backlinks.
