Like the title says, I would be curious to know, what is the ONE thing that frustrates you most about guest posting, whether it is done through manual outreach, or buying guest posts from agencies or platforms?

Some examples:

Finding opportunities?
Selecting guest post sites?
Lack of transparency?
Too expensive?
Too time consuming?
Low response rates?
Avoiding PBNS?
Guest Post Farms?
Writing articles?
Anything else?

One of the most frustrating aspects of guest posting is the lack of transparency from website owners or guest posting agencies regarding site metrics and traffic. Other common frustrations include low response rates, time-consuming selection processes, high costs, and the challenge of avoiding PBNs and guest post farms.

Rejection or Delay: One of the most frustrating things about guest posting can be facing rejection or experiencing significant delays in getting a guest post published. After putting in the effort to write a high-quality article and submitting it to a website for guest posting, it can be disheartening to receive a rejection or face delays in hearing back from the website.

Poor Communication: Lack of clear communication or slow response from website owners or editors can also be frustrating for guest writers. Waiting for feedback or updates on the status of a submitted guest post can be time-consuming and may hinder the writer's ability to plan their content marketing strategy.

Editing Changes: Guest posts may be subject to editing or revision by the website owner or editor, which may result in changes to the writer's original work. If the changes significantly alter the writer's intended message or tone, it can be frustrating for the writer.

Low Traffic or Engagement: Guest posting is often done with the aim of driving traffic or engagement to the writer's own website or blog. If the guest post does not generate the expected traffic or engagement, it can be disappointing and frustrating for the writer, as they may not achieve their desired goals.

Lack of Credit or Compensation: Some websites may not provide proper attribution or compensation to guest writers, which can be frustrating for writers who expect recognition or financial compensation for their work.

Quality Control: Guest posting on websites that do not have strict quality control measures may result in the writer's work being published alongside low-quality content, which can negatively impact the writer's reputation and frustrate their efforts to establish themselves as a credible writer.

Violation of Agreements: Occasionally, guest writers may face frustration when their guest post is published on a website that violates the agreed-upon terms, such as not providing proper backlinks, not adhering to the agreed-upon publication schedule, or not promoting the guest post as promised.

It's important to note that guest posting experiences can vary greatly depending on the website, editor, and specific circumstances. Clear communication, understanding expectations, and establishing mutually beneficial agreements can help mitigate some of the frustrations associated with guest posting.
