That's basically SEO's equivalent of shouting your website in a crowded room hoping someone hears you. It's a lazy backlink play where people spam their URLs across every profile imaginable without real strategy. Most savvy SEOs have moved on because these links rarely move the needle in rankings anymore.

If you're still banking on profile links as a core tactic, you're stuck in a 2010 mindset. Focus on building genuine relationships, guest posting, and crafting share-worthy content instead. Profile links might get you a few clicks from curious users, but don't expect Google to reward you for link dumping.
