Link swapping, also known as a reciprocal link,  is a practice of two websites that agrees to exchange the links with each other. In other words, one website creates a backlink from another site and the links back to the first website are called link swapping. It was once popular for creating backlinks and helping the website ranking, but, currently, most websites don't rely on this technique.
