well, it helps me a lot in my project, it is easy to understand and is the most common way of programming. .net is the latest and is very user-friendly, so i guess that is the best so far, but still i must learn on that.

Yes I am using VB 6.0 and really its a great programming  language that helps one to easily develop forms and make applications of there use on there terms a really great one , user friendly easy to learn modular programming language so go for it.
