I'd simply leave those hаcked URLs returning proper 404/410. That's normal crawl behavior. Don't mass-redirect junk URLs to the homepage - it's poor SEO hygiene and looks like spammy soft-404 manipulation.
Clean your CMS, update robots.txt if needed, keep the sitemap fresh, and let the crawler drop those dead endpoints from the index.
