Hi everyone,
I'm working on improving the SEO performance of my blog. I have around 80 posts, and some of them are 1–2 years old. I've heard that updаting old content can help with rankings, but I'm not sure how often I should do this or what parts to focus on when updаting.

Should I rewrite entire sections, just update the dates, or add new internal links?
Any tips or best practices for updаting old blog posts to boost SEO?

Thanks in advance!

Review posts every 6–12 months. Focus on updаting facts, adding links, and improving sections that still get traffic or target key keywords.

It is generally advisable to revamp old blog posts every 3–6 months to keep SEO going and even enhance it. However, the real need for such a refurbishment will vary depending on how relevant the topic is and if there are any changes in the industry. Concentrate more on bringing back the old content with updated facts, providing fresh viewpoints, properly targeting the keywords, changing the links, and making the text or the content more readable or attractive with the help of media. This is a way of letting search engines know that your content is still up-to-date and therefore valuable, which can lead to higher rankings and more organic traffic. At Digital Aacharya's Institute, students acquire the skills to plan and execute content updates and optimizations for sustainable SEO results.
