Is this a good practice to add a link from any high Authority website to my blog or article as it ranked well for SEO purpose. I usually create a hidden back link to my blog's to get better ranking. Is this good or i may be penalized for the same ?

When it comes to link building for SEO, it's crucial to understand the difference between ethical practices and those that could potentially lead to penalties from search engines.

Creating hidden backlinks, also known as "black hat" SEO techniques, involves placing links in a way that is deceptive or misleading. This can include using hidden text or links that are invisible to users but present for search engines. Engaging in these practices goes against the guidelines set by search engines and can result in severe penalties, including a drop in rankings or even being removed from search results entirely.

In contrast, a sustainable and effective approach to link building involves creating high-quality, valuable content that naturally attracts backlinks from reputable websites. This can be accomplished by producing engaging articles, blog posts, or other forms of content that other website owners and bloggers find worthy of linking to. Establishing relationships with others in your niche can also lead to natural, genuine backlinks.

In the long run, focusing on building quality content and fostering authentic connections within your industry is not only a better strategy for SEO, but it also contributes to a positive user experience. This user-focused approach aligns with the goals of search engines and is more likely to lead to sustainable, long-term success in rankings and visibility.

Right that invisible link or invisible text or invisible page , all be consider as blackhat seo techniques.  As blackhat seo provide the effective results in beginning ,but when google find site using these techniques , it penalised or banned the site and all of a sudden ranking also dropped.

I would second semwinner... I don't see any logic in hiding backlinks from users.
Also, this is a blackhat practice. Better stay away from it.

Invisible linking is count in black hat seo and Search engine don't like this type of linking. In most of cases search engine gives penalty to those websites who do invisiible link in the web page.
