The link exchange has officially become useless. End your link exchanges now while you still have the chance to do so. It i ssaid that search engines may penalize sites that take part in link exchanges, so should i get rid of all the exchanged links ? Your suggestions ?

I would suggest you to make your exchanged links nofollow... this gives an impression of exchanging links just for referral traffic or as editorial links.
