An SEO-friendly URL structure is the following things:

- Easy to read: Users and search engines should be able to understand what is on each page just by looking at the URL.
Keyword-rich: Keywords still matter and your target queries should be within URLs. Just be wary of overkill; extending URLs just to include more keywords is a bad idea.
- Consistent: There are multiple ways to create an SEO-friendly URL structure on any site. It's essential that, whatever logic you choose to follow, it is applied consistently across the site.
- Static: Dynamic parameters are rarely an SEO's best friend, but they are quite common. Where possible, find a solution that allows your site to render static URLs instead.
- Future-proof: Think ahead when planning your site structure. You should minimize the number of redirects on your domain, and it's easier to do this if you don't require wholesale changes to URLs.
- Comprehensive: Use the concepts of main content and supplementary content to ensure you have adequate coverage for all relevant topics. This will maximize your site's visibility.
- Supported by data: It normally requires buy-in from a lot of stakeholders to launch or update a particular site structure. Numbers talk, so make use of search and analytics data to support your case.
- Submitted to search engines: Finally, create an XML sitemap containing all of the URLs that you want to rank via SEO and submit it to search engines. That will ensure all your hard work gets the reward it deserves.

i have a few question.

1. i have a website with a subfolder coming-soon on it, i tried to achieve what google want, my website running bootstrap i dont use the wordpress anymore, will google read the coming-soon folder as an "Under Construction" page?

2. I create an .htaccess to access my coming-soon subfolder, do the search engine or google seo treat the domain name differently?

3. my domain.com has nothing in it, only the "Coming-soon" folder, how to achieve the seo friendly searches if i want my coming-soon folder to be read?

Hoping you can help me with that,

Thank you.

Validate regex: ^[a-z0-9\-]+$, force lowercase, strip special chars. Always 301 legacy URLs. Best practice: structure like /category/target-keyword/.

Canonical tags matter, avoid soft 404s, hashbangs. Meta: URL length under ~115 chars, no param bloat. If your URL looks like spaghetti code - it's trash. APIs and frameworks often vomit out garbage defaults, override everything.

URL stands for uniform resource locator, and this means the address of an online resource. A good SEO-friendly URL means it is brief, self-explanatory, and has the most important words inside. Google recommends using hyphens (not underscores) and lowercase letters. Also, do not allow the URL to have unnecessary parameters or long strings that make it difficult to understand. To verify if the URL is good or not, Google Search Console and Yoast SEO could be used. At Digital Aacharya's Institute, students are taught not only to make a URL but also to make a URL that gives high SEO and a good user experience.

You can check SEO-friendly URLs by ensuring they're short, include target keywords, avoid numbers or special characters, use hyphens for spacing and clearly describe the page content for users and search engines.

To check whether a URL is SEO-friendly, start by reviewing its structure and readability. An SEO-friendly URL should be short, descriptive, and easy to understand for both users and search engines. It must include relevant keywords, use hyphens instead of underscores, avoid special characters, numbers, or unnecessary parameters, and clearly indicate the page topic. For example, a clean URL related to Digital Marketing Courses in Pune helps search engines quickly identify the content relevance and improves click-through rates. You can also test URLs using tools like Google Search Console, SEO site audit tools, or simply check if the URL looks meaningful and readable when shared or searched online.
