H1 and H2 tag is basically use for the title as for simply define as the main heading title as a "keyword" for your page and H2,H3 is use for the subtitle category. on the other hand, the alt tag use with the image so the google easily fetch and crawl the image and content as well included on it.

The h1 h2 and h3 tags is like a family tree.For example Remember in school days where students use to draw diagrams of a family tree
Placing the head of the family on the top and then the placing the next member according to its importance.I learnt it this way
H1 h2 and h3 tag behaves just like that and they are for the search engines to convey what's your website about

H1 & H2 are called as header tags. H1 indicates the text with highest priority & H2 being second highest priority. Alt tags are used to give naming to images. This tag is used because search engine crawlers are unable ti identify images & hence proper name is given to them in the form of text.
