Yes, Google keyword planner is best tool right now. But i am always very disappointed with figure they provide.
Some time Google keyword planner some time show on some keywords has thousand of visitor but if we rank for those keywords then traffic is very low.
To take keyword suggestion Google keyword planner is good. But its not accurate. It just give you some idea.

Most keyword research tools are overhyped and overpriced. They promise the world but often deliver lackluster results. Take Ahrefs, for example - its pricing is astronomical, and its features, while comprehensive, can be overwhelming for beginners.

SEMrush is another culprit, touting its "magic" keyword suggestions that often feel like a shot in the dark. And don't even get me started on Moz's Keyword Explorer, which seems to prioritize complexity over user experience. If you're a web designer or webmaster on a budget, consider free alternatives like Google Keyword Planner or Ubersuggest - they might not be as flashy, but they get the job done.

Keyword research is the process of uncovering the exact words and phrases your target audience uses when searching online, a crucial step that helps align your content with real user intent, boost search visibility, and drive traffic that's more likely to convert. Using a keyword research tool enables marketers to analyze search volume, competition, and relevance, helping them prioritize high-value, low-competition keywords and tailor content or ad campaigns for maximum impact. In short, keyword research acts as a bridge between user queries and content strategy; without it, your SEO or SEM efforts may miss the mark. If you want to learn this systematically and master its practical application, check out the courses offered by Digital Aacharya's Institute they cover keyword research, SEO, and full-fledged digital marketing training to help you start strong in the field.
