Question about google sitemap

Hi,

Is it possible to receive automatic notifications of sitemaps statuses to my e-mail? I have found out that google webmaster api allows to get any information about a google sitemap, but I would like to know if there are online services or easy to install scripts that can do this job?

I there's an option to have that in the google webmaster tools.. but try to ask in the google webmaster central.. thanks

Google webmaster tools does not provide such service. It sends messages only if something wrong with your site.

"Occasionally Google may send you messages about issues we've found with sites in your account. These messages appear in the Message Center, and the most recent messages will appear on the Webmaster Tools home page."

I've checked it first. That's why I'm looking for some script or online seo service.

You will be redirected to the generated sitemap details page, including number of pages, broken links list, XML file content and link to a sitemap file. Download the sitemap file using that link and put it into the domain root folder of your site i guess.
