What is the formula for knowing keyword density ?

quansay

Search engine already declare some limitation for keyword repetition. number of time your targeted keywords repeat in your content or paragraph is your keyword density.

The formula to know the keyword density is:
(Total number of keyword/ total number of words in your article) multiply by 100.

In point of view the SEO professional, the keyword density should be from 1% to 3%. Overstuffing the webpage with keywords to gain an advantage in the SERPs is useless now a days and will make the website appear like spam.

Formula for keyword density = (Number of Times a Keyword appears * 100) /Total number of words.

If we are talking about 1-2% of keyword density in our article. It means our keyword should appear 1-2 times per 100 words.  !-!

Keyword density is no. of keyword appear in your whole content. The formula to know the keyword density is ( Total number of keyword/ total number of words in your article) multiply by 100 Share. For example your keyword is Hotels in India and you have a content of 100 words having the same keyword 5 times. Then it means your keyword density is 5% and as per moz your keyword density should be 3-4%.
