I got a couple of direct messages such as:

I'm new on twitter and I know nothing about different twitter apps, is that smth worth or a type of spam???

truetwit is an app that validates a user, to show that he/she is really a true person and not a bot. That is not a spam for sure.

It is not a spam but a spam checker that helps to validate your new followers.It is a good application in twitter to manage followers because there are two many software bot that can increase your followers in seconds making some spam for your account.
