What sites do you guys use to monitor your site uptime?

Do you pay for for this service? If so, what kind of "specs" (time between pings for one) do you get for your money?

I have seen some places charging as much as 50 dollars a month to ping one IP address every 2 minutes. That seems ridiculous to me.

I use siteuptime.com for one of my sites. You can never go wrong with their Free Plan.
Reliable hosting? try HOSTGATOR and WEBHOSTINGHUB.

Hello;
This topic is quite old but I recommend Robotalp for those who are researching. You can track many websites with its free version.

To monitor your site's uptime, use website monitoring tools such as UptimeRobot, Pingdom, or Site24x7. These tools track your site's availability and performance, sending alerts if downtime or issues are detected. Regularly check these reports to ensure your site remains operational and addresses any problems promptly.

To use ping monitoring, you can use tools like Pingdom, Uptime Robot, or StatusCake, or run a ping command from your terminal. Checks if a server is reachable by sending signals. It's like a continuous knock on the door—if there's no answer, the site might be down.
