Which would you consider to be a better option for web hosting ? CPanel or DirectAdmin ? I've heard directadmin hosting accounts are cheaper and easier to use for newbies and that CPanel is more powerful but more complex. Could someone give me some advise and tips on the difference between the two and which one I should go for ?

Oh and what's Plesk ?

I think CPanel is more powerful and not complex. In addition it is more stable.
But anyway, you can use what you like more.

Cpanel's gotta be the most used and easiest to use. It's also much more powerful than all other solutions... go for CPanel everytime.

I use Plesk and I have to say it's rubbish!!! I'm thinking of moving over to Cpanel since everyone on the net uses it and recommends it. I've never even heard of Direct Admin, but the user interface looks really good :)

Forget plesk, directadmin and the rest, Cpanel is they only one that is mass used. It's DNS options and apache rebuild options ar superior, combine that with things like fantastico, and it really is a leap ahead of it's competition!

Both have their own difference. cPanel - users love it. Updated often. Expensive for ONE server, but inexpensive when you have many. And, DA - low memory footprint. Users seem to like it. Realitively inexpensive for single servers and multiple.
