WordPress site from scratch

[jamesward2987]

Hi,

I use WordPress and have used various templates and themes to customise from.

I need to build a site from scratch and will need to include a blog, accordians, sliders, etc.

Can anyone recommend the best builder to use?

I can code the front end, so I don't mind using CSS, etc.

Thanks

Following are the steps that will drive you through the building of a WordPress site from scratch:

1. Choose a Domain and Hosting: Buy a domain and choose hosting that supports WordPress.
2. Install WordPress: Avail the one-click WordPress installation feature from your hosting provider.
3. Select and Customize a Theme: Choose a theme that works best for your brand from the WordPress dashboard.
4. Install Plugins: Install plugins needed for functionality; including, but not limited to, SEO, security, and contact forms.
5. Create Content: Create the pages and posts, then configure the menus and settings.
6. Launch: Review the site, make final edits, and go live.

These will help in setting up a functional and professional WordPress website from scratch.
