People also like to read blogs compared to articles. So as per my opinion blogs are more reliable compared to articles.

As per my knowlegde article create more traffic with keyword ranking.. and blog  increases website backlinks along with keyword ranking... Article and Blog both are beneficial for website to increases more number of traffic..
