Search Engine Submission
« on: 05-27-2010, 08:49:16 »
You can manually submit your pages to each of the major search engines and they will crawl your site within a few days.  You can find this page through a search engine search or through the "more" options in google

It would be better to get (have) back links from indexed websites.
You will be indexed much more faster.

Search engine submission is useful but it is not enough, I think you should do some link building technique in quality website so crawler can easily and fast indexed your website. You can also get some back link and visitor by link building technique.

While Search Engine Submission is often seen as a way to promote a web site, it generally is not necessary because the major search engines like Google, Yahoo, and Bing use crawlers, bots, and spiders that eventually would find most web sites on the Internet all by themselves. There are two basic reasons to submit a web site or web page to a search engine. The first reason would be to add an entirely new web site because the site operators would rather not wait for a search engine to discover them. The second reason is to have a web page or web site updated in the respective search engine.

Back link Generation is the very first step for any site which is newly Registered in any search engine.

Just Because of Directory Submission the search engine knows about your page that their is a site with this content etc.

After the submission of directory you can post your blog, Classified, Social Bookmarking and Article submission etc...

your site rank is depends upon your keyword selection. how you select your keywords.

Hi,
Agreed with Sevam. The best results are achieved from directory submission. Directory sites crawl faster then other sites.
