Which anti-virus you are using to protect your pc from viruses, trojan's and malwares..?
I am using--
Avast home edition and its good..
Its easy to use, faster scanning, don't hang my computer and its really affordable..

It's not free.
I've just bought it's license key for a year.
It's a good antivirus and it's affordable.

Now I am using BitDefender... then I decided to buy the originals too... its worth the price too... (Got to gether with 2 of my friends and bought the 3-1 licence)

my 2nd preference is Kaspersky
and 3rd is Comodo ;-)

Do you know that Kaspersky (author of this AV) worked in KGB ?
And as I know he has some relations with it till now. Even Russians do not like using that AV because they do not want Russian secret police knows their secrets.

hanxlk: I've asked some of my colleagues about bitdefender.
They've told me that it's really a good AV but it removes all of the things that it recognized as harmful even some malwares that we need in our computer. Is that true?

Now it's FSB - Federal Security Service or something so. Anyway, if you have KAV installed Russian secret services know about you almost all.

I'm using Norton right now.  Sucks don't switch to it.  I got a year of it free though so I don't really have a choice, can't pass up $60 worth of good legal software.  I'm switching to either Avira or Kaspersky when this runs out though.
