How 2 play a sound when a link is clicked?

does anybody know if it is possible that when a user clicks on a link a sound file will play?

not so JUST the file will play but the link also works as normal such as to open a new page like a normal link. does anybody get me?

can this be done with HTML or is there an easier way with Frontpage?

would appreciate if the code was HTML though
