Favored placement is the practice of preferentially listing search engine results for given sites. For instance, as part of the Google-AOL deal, Google agreed to give favored placement to content from AOL throughout its site.[1] Yahoo! Search Marketing is one of the originators of the practice, doing such for Yahoo!.
